Even worse was the fact they are making the damn thing another 2D platformer....What the hell are Nintendo thinking, as even Mario 3D feels like a 2D platformer....not to mention they already have Rayman Legends (which is superior to them all), Mario 2D, Trine 2, & I believe some other 2D platformers on the store,(that 360 & PS3 had 6-12months before), & every damn platfor...
Ninja Gaiden game looks far more interesting than a 2D redo of a 25yr old game....You won't beat the original douche's, so convert it to 3D.
Just like I still had time for my PS2 when PS3 launched & for 6-12months after, as I had amassed a collection of great games still worth time on PS2, & PS3 was just getting started....Well, now it's the same with my PS4 & PS3, I am loving NFS:Rivals, Lego Marvel, KZ:SF, Resogun, BF4, AC:BF, & even Knack & COD:Ghosts....But, I am also still playing my PS3 back catalogue that I'm trying to knock off as much as possible, still getting through games like TLOU, TR, Ratc...

If developers have to create there own engine to run the game, IT MAY TAKE 5yrs, & that's a very big MAY...But, 2-3 years is the realistic number.....Once they have an engine that they are familiar with, such as the ND guys with Unchartered, & the IW/Treyarch guys with COD, the gestation period for sequels & games in the same general genre, is greatly shortened....Activision give there 2 COD teams a 2yr turnaround time, ensuring that a game is released in the series EVERY YEAR...
